What is Click 4 Obama, you ask?

About Click4Obama

Click4Obama has three goals:

1. Challenge Americans to lean more about American History, Government, Politics, Race Relations, and Current Events
2. Provide everyone an easy opportunity to become involved in the future of America
3. Support Barack Obama's dream to bring about real change in Washington

We are at a critical point in America's History. Decisions about the economy, the war in Iraq, health care, and social security will shape the nation's future. Generations of Americans have labored for the freedoms that we enjoy today. Now it is time for us to take an active role in the protection of our country's resources and the ideals that it stands for. As Americans it is our civic responsibility to reflect on our history, understand our government, follow current events, and get involved in Politics.

The goal of this site is to challenge Americans to think about the issues facing America, and encourage participation in Government. The questions are designed to allow users to reflect upon American history, government, politics, race relations, and current events. We hope that each user will have the opportunity to learn something about the current issues and feel more confident about their understanding of politics. In addition, each correct answer will contribute to Barack Obama's political campaign.

I played, and there were John McCain banner ads at the bottom. Something is fishy here. I think the "Obama Ads" it mentions for are actually anti-Obama ads.

I don't think it can control the ads at the bottom, they just get paid for it.

Banner ads are banner ads. Campaigns buy them, and they often get placed just anywhere, or where they think there might be a target market, in a general sense. So, yeah.. I don't think it's necessarily fishy.

This is fun! I love that one of the answers to "Who is the current Prime Minister of Japan?" is Shigeru Miyamoto.

I am incredibly embarrassed.
The only questions I kept missing? State capitals.
I missed both Missouri and Oregon...but I know what the Marshall Plan was.

I was playing right before going to bed.. and with headphones playing loud music.. while finishing watching a show on the dvr.. while making hurricane forecasts.. and.. and..

I'm not doing that again. Let's just leave it at that ;)

I was impressed how well I did...other than the capitals. Of course I'm relatively awake and have few distractions at the moment.

Hurricane forecasts?
My curiosity just went through the roof. I'm a hurricane nut and have been comparing speculations with people over the past couple weeks in preparation for the start of the season.
Any thoughts on what the NC coast can expect this year? Ever since Isabel, things have been really quiet for us.

The answer to their White House question (about why it's painted white) is incorrect. WIKIPEDIA SEZ SO.

Anyway the answer makes no sense.

lol

I missed that one!

What's their reason and what's the correct one?

The answer on the quiz is that it was painted white because there was a fire and they painted over it. According to Wikipedia, it's always been white.

Q. What is the "supreme law of the land" in the United States?

One possible answer: Chuck Norris. *snerks*

But this is great! My political knowledge is not as good as I'd like it to be, and this is a really fun way to learn more. Thanks for the link!
